PTFE

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is the gold-standard solution for sealing applications exposed to extreme chemical aggression or requiring absolute purity. PTFE flat gaskets are characterized by near-universal chemical inertness and exceptional thermal stability. PTFE ensures maximum safety in scenarios where standard elastomers might reach their limits.
Cutting PTFE flat gaskets
Our range of specialized PTFE materials is tailored to your most critical flat gasket applications:
- An extreme, universal temperature range: consistent performance from -200°C to +260°C across all our grades. Your gaskets retain their properties from cryogenic cold to high temperatures, without aging or hardening over time.
- Grades adapted to various industry requirements, supported by specific certifications (FDA, USP VI, etc.).
- For applications subject to high friction and load stress, our formulations can incorporate high-performance fillers:
- Bronze and stainless steel: for increased hardness (up to 67 ShD)
- Carbon, graphite, and PEEK: for minimal wear (optimized wear rates) and extremely low static and dynamic coefficients of friction
- Glass fiber: ideal for minimizing creep and deformation under load
- For safety-critical and demanding environments, specialized solutions are available, such as detectable PTFE for the food industry, antistatic grades (DP0014/15) for explosive zones, and grades certified to Norsok M710 and API 6A standards (DP010, DP013, DC006) for the oil and gas industry.
Available as custom-cut gaskets or in standard formats, our PTFE flat gaskets ensure reliable, immediate sealing.
